Our countryside estate in the Cotswolds

The Gardens

We have created a haven of tranquillity in the grounds of Cowley Manor. From our eclectic collection of trees and beautiful plant life that blooms all year around to our unique sculptures dotted around the grounds, the gardens at Cowley Manor will inspire you to reconnect with nature, no matter the time of year.

Conservation is very close to our hearts here at Cowley, so stay on the lookout for wonderful creatures of all shapes and sizes - including the very rare Lesser-Spotted Purple Dragonfly.

The Lakes

We have two large lakes in our gardens, home to swans, ducks, and all sorts of other adorable creatures. We also have a Victorian cascade that leads into one of our lakes, the relaxing sounds from which can be heard from our terrace - the perfect accompaniment to your morning tea or coffee. There are benches scattered around the lakes so you can relax and enjoy the sounds of nature along your walk.

Our eclectic collection of trees

As lovers of nature, it only seems fit that we have a wide collection of trees on our grounds. Sourced from all over the world by the original owners, our eclectic collection of trees are a staple part of our grounds, offering plenty of shade on a summers' day and plenty of homes for the birds and animals at the heart of our conservation work.

Secret gardens

Just like the interiors of our hotel, a trip to Cowley Manor's gardens is full of surprises. Explore our 55 acre estate and discover secret woodland pathways, vibrant sculptures, and relaxing hideaways. Take a look around and soak up the sights, smells, and sounds of our own slice of peaceful Cotswold countryside.
